Too Immature...

2009 had came to the end and 2010 has started for few days. It's time for me to be back to my college again after 1 and a half months of long holiday.

Waking up in the middle of the night deepened my unwillingness to go back to the jungle. Everytime I take train from Wakaf Bharu to Kuala Lipis after my sweet sweet holidays, I will have to wake up at about 3 AM early in the morning. Early, huh? This is because the only train scheduled in a day departs at 4.18am. Just imagine 3 hours of sleeping. When I woke up this morning, I felt so dizzy. But what to do? I still have to be in the train on time. That's why I was able to continue sleeping in the train again. XD. Because I was really really lack of sleep. =(

When the train reached the station, a Chinese old man asked us if we want to go back to the institute by his car. It was an unlicensed taxi. There's a lot of people doing this business there. Although it is dangerous for us, the passengers, but we didn't even wonder about our safety. This is because we believe that in this small and friendly place, everything is safe. Are we too naive? Perhaps ‘YES’. Hehe! We told the uncle that we wanted to go back by his car,but before that we wanted to buy something first. So, he asked us to put our luggage in the car bonnet first. He even promised to wait us there. So, we went away to buy our things without noticing the car's model and colour, without taking note on the number plate, without asking for the uncle's phone number. We succeeded to buy everything within 10 minutes. However, when we went back to the place, that uncle was no longer there!

At first, we thought very positively that maybe he went to send other people back first. But the longer we waited, the more nervous we got. We realised that our luggage were in the car, with us knowing nothing about the car and the driver! Why were we so stupid? We are no longer kids. Why is our action so immature?

Luckily after waiting for nearly half an hour, the uncle went back. It is like what we thought at first. He went to send other people first=.= Really lucky. Thank god.

After this incident, I guess I will no longer trust people so easily anymore. Although Kuala Lipis is not Kuala Lumpur , although it is not a big city with various types of people, I still have to be careful.
